Book Review - The Night Circus - Erin Morgenstern - Review

It is not everyday that a debut novel just sweeps you off your feet. May be Harry Potter did that some ten years ago. Now, I am talking about The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern.
The Night Circus.. The name makes us wonder, what kind of circus opens at night? But this books shows that the circus can indeed be opened at night and it can be enchanting too...
This book is quite large at more than 500 pages. Even then it moves like a breeze. Going over a monotonous phase in your life? What you need is some magic in your life. Here it is! The magic!
Now I start sounding like a vendor. But this book takes magic to a level where you fall into it and it takes some time to come off the spell.
The book shuttles past between two time zones and it does a good job in grabbing your attention and keeping you on the edge of your seats. There is never a dull moment and it goes like a breeze.
The midnight party, the exquisitely explained palates... Those drool worth pages does not come often.
And... There is romance too. A binding (literally) romance too!
Two persons... A Challenge... Who will be the winner? What about their love? This is the basic storyline.
But the most of the novel is spent on explaining the various items at the circus. An extraordinary circus at that!
All characters play a pivotal role.
One good (best) read!!
Wear your black and white with a strip of red, munching away the caramel topped popcorns and go and read it!!!
Strictly for persons who can appreciate fantasy! ( life is one big fantasy)

One Word: Magical

Rated as 10/10
